My prayers go out to all of our military - may God be with them and see them all safely home. I also pray for all those who've been displaced my hurricanes and tornadoes - lost family and still looking. The miners in West Virginia, and their families also continue to need our prayers.
I also pray for those who've lost their faith -- may they see that the only way IS through faith. Faith in our Heavenly Father. Faith and Belief in Jesus Christ. He is our Savior. He never stopped. He's always there - you just need to invite Him in. God Bless you and yours.
The Serenity Prayer goes like this -- My favorite prayer...
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next. Amen.
